This Shilin bubble ice shop located in an alley on Section 5 of Nanjing East Road is an old establishment that I've visited many times, specializing in traditional bubble ice. This time, I ordered strawberry and corn milk flavors. The strawberry flavor has a delicate ice texture with a slight graininess from the fruit, offering a natural sweetness and refreshing taste; the corn milk flavor is rich and sweet, with noticeable corn pieces, making it a nostalgic and special choice. The owner mentioned that they use the more expensive "green giant" corn.

Usually, my go-to order is the egg milk flavor, which is creamy and smooth, with an addictive magic that makes you want more. However, the last egg was ordered by the previous customer, alas. The seating in the shop is simple, but the turnover rate is quick, so you won't have to wait long. There are also many people coming in for takeout.

Online information states they are open every day, but yesterday I heard the owner say they are taking a break today, so it seems they have irregular hours.
