The old tea shop, Qingshan Tea Shop, is the only one of its kind without any branches. Established in 1982 in Tainan, it was the first tea shop on Anping Road, going through the widening of Hai'an Road and the renaming of Anping Road to Minsheng Road. Boss Sun of Qingshan Tea Shop has been working with tea for 43 years and has won numerous awards, including the Special Award for Tea Roasting in 1984. He has specialized in black tea research for decades, and the sugar is homemade brown sugar syrup, which can be adjusted for sweetness if needed (shop introduction).
There are many people in line, typically waiting from 30 minutes to an hour. There are many varieties, and it’s best to prioritize the shop’s recommendations. Pure tea types are generally acceptable, and the amber ice block milk tea is very delicious, featuring an ice block in the shape of a leaf on top, with a perfect golden ratio.
