📍Location: Taichung, North District
I visited a place I found on the map that looked pretty good, but the reviews were mixed, which made me a bit worried before dining.

Upon entering the restaurant, the space was spacious and the staff polite, which boosted my confidence.
So I thought, "Since I'm here, I might as well order the most comprehensive meal to try it out."

📝 This time, I ordered the Truffle Wild Mushroom Pasta for $270 and a Value Set for $239.
The set includes: pasta, beverage of choice, cold/warm salad, soup, and dessert.

Although the dishes are made to order, the staff served the food quickly, so I didn’t feel delayed at all.

Here's a summary of my ratings for the dishes (the prices listed are for individual items):

🍝 Truffle Wild Mushroom Pasta $270 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
🍎 Tropical Fruit Flavored Tea $180 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
🥗 Warm Salad $59 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
🥣 Mushroom Cream Soup $59 🌕🌑🌑🌑🌑
🍰 Grandma's Lemon Frosting Cake $80 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕

If you calculate closely, you might feel it’s not exactly “value for money,” but many items on the menu seem relatively affordable, and my overall impression was that it was somewhat worth it.

For detailed reviews of the food's flavor, I'll let the photos speak for themselves; now, let’s write some other information!

🅿️ Parking: The restaurant is located in an alley, so motorcycles might be able to park in front, but cars will definitely need to look for nearby parking, which is limited and difficult to find on holidays.

⏰ The restaurant's operating hours are until 8 PM, but they don’t accept new customers after 7 PM. Therefore, if there are no new customers around 7 PM, the staff starts to clean up.
I entered around 5:30 PM, so dining for 90 minutes was just right to finish by 7:00 PM. Around 6:45 PM, the staff asked if I wanted to refill my hot tea; when I looked up, I realized the kitchen lights were already dimmed. They cleaned up quite quickly, but the pressure to finish dining in the last 30 minutes felt a bit heavy (it felt like I was being rushed to leave, which was a bit disappointing).

Truffle Wild Mushroom Pasta $270 I really enjoy dishes that look rich, and this one caught my eye as soon as it was served. There’s more than one type of mushroom, and it also has many kinds of vegetables. Mysteriously, there are some oats on top, but it doesn't feel out of place or strange.
I originally thought the vegetables were cooked, but it turns out they are all raw! But maybe that's the way to go; it feels a lot fresher, though the half-cold and half-hot sensation is a bit strange 😅.
Truffles are very special; they are not so intense that they become a "paste," but rather feel like fine powder. Therefore, there is also no strong gas-like smell (that's how I describe the scent of truffles), but rather a subtle truffle aroma.
The white sauce looks like it's very thin and sparse, but it still has a rich flavor when you eat it. I give this kind of flavored white sauce a thumbs up!
Warm Salad $59 Very few places offer warm salad, but I really love to eat warm salad. It contains shiitake mushrooms, vegetables, and king oyster mushrooms as shown in the picture, and there are also two potato wedges underneath.
I really like roasted king oyster mushrooms. The warm salad dressing is slightly sour, which depends on personal taste; I can accept it. 👌
It is a potato chunk (at first mistaken for a baked sweet potato).
Mushroom cream soup $59 (It looks very dark due to backlighting) The color and density were both on point, but the taste was really not up to par. As mentioned in the online reviews, the soup is indeed not that good. What I experienced was a thick soup, but without the fragrant taste of cream. Although it had a rich texture when scooped up, the flavor felt thin and somewhat watery overall, lacking that “creamy” sensation. I also encountered some lumps of starch… I believe a good soup plays an important role in opening up the appetite, but this was the most disappointing dish of the day.
It looks like this when you scoop it up.
Tropical Fruit Flavor Tea $180 The hot tea can be refilled unlimited times, but the dining time is only 90 minutes, so there's really no way to savor it slowly after the meal. The hot tea was served early, so I was able to refill it 1-2 more times.

Grandma's Lemon Frosted Cake $80 I was really a bit shocked by the price; it's quite rare to find cakes under a hundred now. The frosting layer is thick, with a lemon fragrance, but not too sour. It tastes refreshing, and the cake itself is a solid pound cake. On the side are edible berry bits, but there’s a special aroma. I tasted the white decoration for a long time and I guess it should be plain yogurt, not cream.
"Look at the layer of icing."
Cups and utensils are all self-service here.
The space is very spacious, with not many seats; spaciousness is one of the points I like.
There is still a little space behind the wall, and there are seats available.
Scan the code to order I finished an entire set meal in 90 minutes. Although the time was enough, it still felt a bit rushed. I ate the whole set meal, and it just took me about 90 minutes to finish...
On the day of the meal, it was a weekday, and there weren't many customers. By nearly 7 o'clock, the restaurant had already cleaned up the back kitchen and turned off the lights... Although the business hours are stated until 8 o'clock, if there are no customers, they may close as early as 7!
