識食記

On the last day, I walked near 官也街 (Rua da Ribeira de Macau), originally intending to just buy an egg tart, but I unexpectedly discovered this newly opened little shop – 識食記 (Food Diary). The name of the shop alone makes it clear that they understand food.

Signature Devil's Pork Chop Pineapple Bun (MOP 48)
As soon as it arrived at the table, I was stunned by that huge piece of pork chop. The outer pineapple bun was crispy and not dry, with the juices perfectly sealed in. Combined with lettuce, tomato, and sauce, it was really delicious. Upon serving, they even asked if I wanted to take a picture and helped cut it open after I was done.

Spicy Curry Fish Balls (MOP 38)
I found this dish average. The sauce was fragrant, but the fish balls were a bit loose and didn't have a solid texture. If you enjoy strong flavors, you might want to try it, but I probably wouldn't order it again.

Curry Pork Rib and Chicken Wing Oil Noodle (MOP 58)
The noodles were sufficiently bouncy, the sauce clung nicely, the chicken wings were flavorful and not dry, and the pork ribs were braised perfectly without being too tough. This bowl is good.

Pork Chop Curry Chicken Wing Rice Noodle (MOP 58)
The broth had a nice curry aroma, the rice noodles absorbed the sauce just right, and the portion was generous. If you enjoy soupy dishes, you can order this bowl.

Rich Curry Chicken Chop Rice (MOP 58)
The potatoes were well-cooked, the chicken chop was tender, the curry was not too greasy, and the rice was cooked perfectly, with each grain distinct.

Salty Lemon Seven (MOP 22)
In the end, I drank too quickly and ordered another glass. The salty lemon was very flavorful, and combined with the refreshing Sprite, it was a good choice.
