This izakaya has a very special activity, which is that every afternoon, they announce their non-business hours online... but the truth is, they have a whole sake course! This course is available for sale on Airbnb – and you can also find it on Klook! Since my friend is very interested in sake and wants to learn more deeply, I signed up for this experience course to gain a deeper understanding of the different flavors of sake 🍶 and the food pairings!

However, the restaurant is not particularly easy to find. After seeing the staircase in the photo, there's a small elevator next to it. You need to take the elevator up to find the restaurant!

I must say... if you come to Tokyo and have time, you really should try this! It's truly worth every penny – as long as you enjoy drinking sake, you can get answers to questions about how sake is brewed, the options for its flavors, the various brands available, and where to buy the best ones — all within these two hours! Plus, during this time, you really can drink enough sake to get tipsy.

If you, like me, enjoy the taste of sake, you absolutely must experience this course! I genuinely believe that by the end of the course, you'll have a solid grasp of what kinds of foods pair well with sake! You'll no longer be silly and fooled by the chefs 👨‍🍳 every time you visit a Japanese restaurant!

Overall, I highly recommend it, and I encourage anyone who is interested to give it a try!

Take a photo of your food with the Fooca camera, and write a genuine dining review to earn extra income. Every meal comes with a reward!
