In Shenkeng Old Street, besides traditional toys, wooden carvings, snacks, and specialty tofu dishes, there are also restaurants for full meals. There are so many places on the old street that it's really hard to choose. After checking reviews, I decided to enjoy dinner at the historically significant "Shenkeng Guzhaocuo."
The prices are considered moderately high, but the quality of the dishes is above standard.
The first dish was the boiled golden capon, with tender meat and a bit of meat gel that I really liked. 💕
The second dish was stir-fried cabbage with sakura shrimp, with delicious and crispy-sweet cabbage paired with the fresh sakura shrimp.
The third dish was steamed stinky tofu, which was juicy and flavorful, and the accompanying savory side dishes were truly a must-order.
The fourth dish was golden crispy tofu rolls, with a perfectly crispy outer layer and satisfying meat filling.
After a hearty meal, I continued to stroll around the old street.
