Taipei Neihu - A hot pot noodle shop that focuses on a sweet and flavorful broth, with the option to choose no hot pot ingredients, which is fantastic. The noodles also come in choices such as udon, shredded chicken, vermicelli, and prince noodles.
📍 Guose Tiianxiang (Kimchi) Beef Hot Pot Noodles NT$160
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
"Choose without hot pot ingredients," the owner will help replace the hot pot ingredients with mushrooms and vegetables!
It includes two clams, beef slices, kimchi, an egg, frozen tofu, triangular fried tofu, cabbage, broccoli, seafood mushrooms, and sweet corn.
The broth is very fresh and sweet, complemented by a strong kimchi flavor. The hot pot noodles are on the softer side, but soaking up the broth is exactly what I love!
📍 Hefeng Sweet (Original Flavor) Clam Hot Pot Noodles NT$150
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘
Again, choose without hot pot ingredients. There are a total of ten clams, and the toppings are the same as above.
The original flavor broth allows you to taste its sweetness, the abundant clams make the broth a bit salty, but it's incredibly flavorful.
▶️ Environment
🔹 The dining space is not large, accommodating about 10-12 people, with a total of 2 four-person tables and 2 two-person tables.
🔹 The decor is clean and simple, and there are Japanese-style ema (votive tablets) outside.
🔹 They do "not" provide self-service drinking water.
🔹 Utensils and spices are self-service.
▶️ Friendly Reminder
🔹 It is recommended to call ahead to order; you won't have to wait on-site.
🔹 Supports LINE Pay, Allpay, and Jiakou Pay, which is very convenient!
▶️ Overall Evaluation
🔹 I used to love buying hot pot noodles from this place in winter, especially enjoying their broth at the end. Compared to other hot pot noodle shops that add satay sauce, this one is relatively refreshing. Recently, after the price increase, I feel that the cost-performance ratio has become disappointing.
