In my opinion, the best wheel cake in Taipei definitely has to be "Hualun Tokyo Imagawayaki"!!!!!

It's really, really, really delicious!! 🥺
It's one of those foods that you just crave every time you pass by the Taipei Arena, a little happiness that comes with walking by!

The outer skin of Hualun's Imagawayaki is different from regular wheel cakes. The owner said they use a cake recipe for their batter, so it’s softer and filled with the aroma of eggs. I think it’s delicious even just by itself!

But even more incredible is its filling! There are a total of 13 different flavors. This time I got the signature cream, chocolate cream, milk fudge, and taro paste, and each one is amazing!

⭐️ Personally, my favorites are the "signature cream" and "chocolate cream." Their cream filling is different from the typical cream wheel cake; it’s lighter in color and super smooth and tasty!
If I had to describe it, it's closer to the taste of crème brûlée because of its amazing base. The chocolate cream made from this base is just as delicious!

The milk fudge and taro paste are also good, but since the cream is so impressive, they don't stand out as much. However, those who enjoy these flavors can still get them.

I’ve bought from here many times, and I still can’t help but exclaim with joy every time I eat it! ☺️ The owner is very nice, and the business is always bustling. This time, I happened to be nearby, so I rallied a group of friends to go buy some together.

Even though there were many customers and it was busy, the owner still kindly reminded us that with a purchase of ten, you get one free, so we could remember to gather our items for checkout. She's really a kind person 😆 If you happen to pass by, you should take a detour to the alley and try it out; you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
