Due to spending time at National Taiwan University Hospital with a patient, I've grown tired of the food court on the first basement floor. So, I decided to run out and buy food from a place a bit farther away, and it just so happened that this restaurant is next to Shuangyue.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I saw that it was very crowded. Since I was just helping the patient buy some stewed beef shank for nourishment, I chose to take out. The aroma of the beef was fine, with the beef shank carrying the scent of the seasoning packet, along with fresh and good scallions and garlic. However, it might be due to the cut of meat or the fact that it wasn't stewed long enough; the beef shank had a bit too much bounce to it, and I couldn't really taste the texture and thickness of the meat itself. Moreover, compared to the price, the portion size was also on the high side.
However, later on, I saw the dishes being served to the dine-in customers, and they looked very delicious. Although the food at this restaurant is relatively expensive, I would definitely want to bring friends here to eat if I have the chance.
