Located near the back station of Yilan Station, 🔸Eat a little something🔸
offers classic Taiwanese snacks:
braised pork rice, radish soup, clam soup, side dishes, winter melon tea.
There are both a la carte and set options.

The shop is very small with only four bar seats.
It's a bit cramped but not hot.

✅ Braised Pork Rice 🍚
The braised pork is hand-sliced pork belly by the owner,
with a mix of fat and lean meat.
It’s topped with a perfectly cooked half-boiled egg 🍳
and refreshing pickled radish.
Overall, it’s not overly salty, slightly sweet,
and not greasy in flavor,
but it lacks the satisfying, sticky lip feel of traditional braised pork rice.

✅ Side Dishes
Today's side dishes include half a piece of fried tofu, dried tofu, and greens.
The soy sauce drizzled on it is not overly salty,
making it perfect with the braised pork rice.

✅ Radish Soup 🥣
There are a lot of radishes in it,
cooked neither too hard nor too soft,
with just the right texture.
The radish aroma fills the entire bowl.

✅ Clam Soup 🥣
Based on the radish soup,
it adds six plump, fresh clams,
which gives the broth an additional layer of umami.
Personally, I find it worth trying more than the braised pork rice.

Even though the offerings are simple,
the owner’s skills are impressive.
You'll want to come back for a taste after finishing.
The flavors are not greasy and have a rich Taiwanese character,
making it a great choice when you want to “eat a little something.”
