The Lao Cai Fried Bun Songshan Station Store is located on the basement level of Songshan Station. The features of the fried bun make it easy for travelers in a hurry at the station to grab and go.

Today, I enjoyed a cabbage bun and a chive bun, totaling 40 yuan.

Cabbage Bun:
A large amount of cabbage completely fills the inside of the fried bun. The fresh cabbage without any earthy taste pairs well with the thick yet soft bun skin.

Chive Bun:
Also fills the fried bun fully, but with chives instead of cabbage. Both types of vegetable buns contain vermicelli, enhancing the complexity of the taste and giving travelers a more satisfying feeling.

Overall, it's a consistently reliable fried bun chain, perfect for grabbing a few to stave off hunger while passing through. Compared to the monotonous meat buns, the two vegetable buns appeal to me more.

The store's sauce bar offers a choice of chili sauce and soy paste, both of which pair well. The store's drinks are basically regular tea with standard flavors. If you're looking for something different to drink, there are plenty of other stores in the basement of Songshan Station to check out, there's no need to buy them together.
