Banfang Sushi Ming Sushi, a Michelin one-star restaurant for many years, has a clean, bright, and comfortable environment, which goes without saying. Upon entering, it feels like you’ve arrived in Japan; I love the atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, there is a larger bar counter, then two smaller private bar booths; today, we dined in the small room with eight seats.
You can choose your sake glass, and the sake decanters are conveniently chilled in water. The first few cold dishes look simple without any unnecessary decoration, but they are very delicious. Even before starting the sushi, I could tell it was going to be great. Once the sushi began, the temperature in each bite, the humidity of the rice, bite size, overall saltiness, and flavor variations were all excellent. Although I don’t have much experience with sushi counters, I really liked this place. A Michelin one-star really lives up to its standards, and I will use this restaurant as the benchmark to compare others in the future (hoping for opportunities).
