Dickson's Fooday mouthpiece food review is back!
This time I want to introduce Thai hot pot!

Thai hot pot has always been a unique presence compared to traditional Taiwanese hot pot restaurants!
Sour, spicy, fragrant is our impression of Thai cuisine!

So what about Thai hot pot...
Is there any special flavor, with all the broth types?
No more mala hot pot, nourishing pot, milk pot!
Honey, I want Thai hot pot~~

As expected, COCA offers many different broth options,
And each one feels quite distinctive.

This time, I came with a friend and ordered the Surf and Turf Feast for two ($2480).
Since we were here, we obviously had to indulge
And truly experience Thai hot pot!

Although $2480 for two isn’t considered high for hot pot,
It did feel a bit lacking in portion size!
But aside from the set meal,
You can also freely add whatever ingredients you desire!

We also ordered scallops and added Thai milk tea!

Overall, the broth has a distinct Thai flavor,
But the meat itself is just like regular hot pot; there's no need to insist on it.
The main highlight is still the Thai hot pot experience to enjoy that Thai sensation.
Does it feel wonderfully Thai?!

The Thai milk tea served here is what you'd typically find at Taiwanese Thai restaurants,
And the ingredients are fresh enough—acceptable!!👌👌

As for the environment, it’s actually quite nice, tranquil, and quiet.
The spacing between tables is also ample,
And the color scheme inside gives a very relaxing Southeast Asian vibe~

Overall,
As a Thai hot pot restaurant choice, I would definitely visit again!!!

Thai, Thai, Thai!!!
Watching everyone rushing to Thailand for a trip.
Darn it, coconut milk, those red and green dishes,
I really want to eat them~~🥺🥺🥺🥺

Ladies from Thailand, be careful you might pop out🫣🫣
Ah, I went off-topic!

When a girl always has no idea what she wants and needs you to decide,
Just give her something special!!!

Thai hot pot~~
It's either sour and spicy or sweet and cloying Thai flavors,
Let's bring some new sensations to the taste buds!

With new sensations on the taste buds,
There will be even more wonderful experiences to follow! ❤️❤️❤️

Nourish Thai
ThaiNew York
Nourish Thai is a popular restaurant with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We like sitting outdoors when we bring our dog and the indoor space is bright and flowery. We ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken as lunch special and a Bamee Moo Dang Poo (egg noodle with pork and crab) which I tried out of curiosity. I wasn't so excited about it and had plenty of shells in the crab meat, and in general was on the bland side. The Pad See Ew was great and is consistently good so that was nice. With lunch special it has good value too giving you an appetizer and a soup which we also liked. Great place for Thai that's near us, so we're happy to come here.

ThaiKrung Thep Maha Nakhon
💛 Affordable local street food 😻 US$1.25 for a super scrumptious giant bowl of double-drumstick thai boat noodle in deliciously medicinal lemongrass herbal broth of wonderful richness that definitely could make every picky foodie drool — not to mention that their customer service is immaculately excellent up to the worldwide standards of most so-called 5-star Michelin’s ostentatious dining places; humble, down to earth & most importantly, they respect and show genuine love to and for the food they diligently harvest, urbanely prepare and joyfully cherish. An easy 5 Stars here, undoubtedly no further explanation is ever needed 🤩 wysiwyg, as simple and loving as that 🍗🍗 much love x infinity!! More Power to them, please keep supporting great food and hope they could continue to build a fantastic restaurant 🦾💪🏿💪🏾💪🏽💪🏻

The Original Boat Noodle Subang Bestari
ThaiShah Alam
A chain of the popular thai boat noodle, known for its small noodle dishes aka boat noodles and its many side dishes. Parking is relatively easy to find, though it may be different on weekdays as the help university is nexr door. The shop is clean with some outdoor seating available. Though i am not a fan of the dated table and chairs. The half chair half stool combination doesnt go well as some customers may prefer proper chairs instead of stools. The place is manned by a small crew of staff which is fine with the set up of the shop. You order on a piece of paper and pass it to the staff. Food came quick. The pathumthani had a sweet taste to it, while the ayyuthaya had a more herbal taste to it. The Khao Soi was creamy coconut curry with some spice to it. All bowls come with a choice of noodles and meat. Portion size was fine for the cheap price as you get the chance to sample the different noodles. I like the spicy creamy taste of the Khao Soi and the sweetness of the pathumthani; while the ayyuthaya was just ok for me. The crispy kangkung tempura was very good. It came with a dipping sauce that complements it well. The taro milk tea was abit sweet but i was looking forward to it. Overall, its not a wow place with super authentic thai taste, but a decent place for a meal with affordable prices and many small dishes to choose from. Will be back here when the cravings for thai boat noodles hit.
