The Original Boat Noodle Subang Bestari

A chain of the popular thai boat noodle, known for its small noodle dishes aka boat noodles and its many side dishes.

Parking is relatively easy to find, though it may be different on weekdays as the help university is nexr door.

The shop is clean with some outdoor seating available. Though i am not a fan of the dated table and chairs. The half chair half stool combination doesnt go well as some customers may prefer proper chairs instead of stools.

The place is manned by a small crew of staff which is fine with the set up of the shop. You order on a piece of paper and pass it to the staff.

Food came quick. The pathumthani had a sweet taste to it, while the ayyuthaya had a more herbal taste to it. The Khao Soi was creamy coconut curry with some spice to it. All bowls come with a choice of noodles and meat. Portion size was fine for the cheap price as you get the chance to sample the different noodles. I like the spicy creamy taste of the Khao Soi and the sweetness of the pathumthani; while the ayyuthaya was just ok for me.

The crispy kangkung tempura was very good. It came with a dipping sauce that complements it well. The taro milk tea was abit sweet but i was looking forward to it.

Overall, its not a wow place with super authentic thai taste, but a decent place for a meal with affordable prices and many small dishes to choose from. Will be back here when the cravings for thai boat noodles hit.
