# Sanxia
This restaurant has been open for a long time on the busy Minsheng Street in Sanxia.
My impression of it before was that their wontons are quite large, and the portion sizes are decent.
Gradually, I found myself eating their curry beef rice more often because I really like that the beef is sliced instead of being in chunks.
Some curry dishes that use chunks of meat can be tough or dry, but their beef slices are very tender, and the kids also love it.
The curry has a strong flavor, and it’s not spicy, which is nice.
Today, I also ordered shredded pork noodles with pickled vegetables.
The noodles have a texture I really like; they’re somewhat similar to ramen, being a bit Q and chewy.
However, I hadn’t dined here in a while, and today, for some reason, the flavor of the whole bowl seemed a bit bland.
There were pickled vegetables, but not much of them, and their flavor didn’t stand out; there wasn’t much of a pickled vegetable taste.
Previously, I had the impression that their shredded pork noodles with pickled vegetables were very delicious.
After today’s meal, I’m a little disappointed.
That said, their shredded pork was still quite good, with a thin coating of sauce, but there was a bit too much fatty meat.
So, the overall soup seemed a little greasy (which could also be from the pork grease).
Overall, I think I would want to come back for the curry beef next time.
I still have a decent impression of the wontons, so I’ll order them again next time.
Another point is that the space in the restaurant is very spacious, and they have high chairs for kids, making it a good choice for dining with children.
