I finally got to try the Oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) that I had been curious about! 🐔🥚
I visited a restaurant called "Shizen to Niku Green," which is closest to Nishiohashi Station on the Osaka Metro, but it's also within walking distance from Yotsubashi Station, Shinsaibashi Station, and Hommachi Station. 🚃
I arrived around opening time, and immediately the seats filled up with people who had reservations and those who wanted to dine without one. 🈵
There were counter seats and table seats available. ✨

What I want to eat before I die is Oyakodon! 🐔🥚
This is the Oyakodon I was aiming for! 🥰
It was a chicken and egg rice bowl with lots of rich dashi served over rice cooked in a clay pot. 🐔🥚
The rice was beautifully fluffy and very neat! 🍚
There were also recommended ways to eat it! ‼️
I started eating it from the edge without breaking the yolk. 🐔
The rice was so delicious, and the Oyakodon had fluffy eggs, tender chicken, and flavorful dashi. 🍚🐔
When I broke the yolk, it became quite rich with the egg yolk mixed in. 🥚
Eating it with a squeeze of lemon added a refreshing twist, creating a new delicious discovery! 🍋
Putting some chives kimchi on the side and eating it combined was mild and delicious! 🔥
When it was down to a quarter left, I added some shiba-zuke (pickled vegetables), and it paired well with the Oyakodon, making it delicious too! ✨
I was amazed that there were so many ways to enjoy Oyakodon and I was thrilled! 🤩
The Oyakodon and all the dishes were delicious! 🐔
