"Yakiniku SHOJO Tainan Anping Store" is located on Yiping Road in the Anping District and is a high-end barbecue restaurant under the Yakiniku restaurant group. The quality of the meat here is indeed impressive; whether it's beef, pork, or seafood, you can taste the freshness and high quality difference. Additionally, I didn’t expect it, but this time we ordered a beef platter, and the presentation was very interesting—the meat was neatly arranged on a plate shaped like Taiwan, which was a memorable detail. In terms of meat quantity, while it might not be considered a lot, it is just right for barbecue. Moreover, the green onion salt beef tongue was delicious, with a smooth, tender, and elastic texture, and the chopped green onions really added the finishing touch!
Regarding the environment, the restaurant is very clean and tidy. Barbecue restaurants usually have a tendency to be filled with grease and smoke, but the ventilation design here is excellent, so you won't leave the place smelling like smoke. The distance between seats also adds to a comfortable feeling, without any sense of pressure.
As for service, the staff were friendly and professional. However, I did notice some people received table-side service, but no one came to help us grill at our table; I wonder if we needed to proactively ask the staff? Or was it because we didn't order an expensive enough set? 😆
Overall, the barbecue experience here is quite good. If you are looking for high-quality meat and a clean dining environment, "Yakiniku" is worth a try.
