😋 Besides eating bento when coming to Fulong, it’s all about eating bento! This "Xiangye Bento" has been established since 1958 and is a favorite among many locals and travelers. The entrance and inside are both filled with crowds, so we headed straight to the dining area at the back, which is cool and spacious, making it much more comfortable to eat than at the pavilion in front!

🍖 This signature bento is super rich: it includes braised egg, pickled cabbage, braised pork, sausage, dried tofu, and cabbage, all neatly packed in the bento box! It’s savory and flavorful without being overly salty, with the rice portion just right, and the ingredients complement each other without clashing. The overall taste is the standard of traditional Taiwanese bento.

👍 I recommend it to you if it's your first time in Fulong, and I also recommend it to those who think "all Fulong bentos are the same." This one is really made with more care and has a history.
