This is a newly opened hot pot restaurant in Taitung, and the highlight is that it’s actually open 24 hours, breaking the industry standard in Taitung's dining scene. There are very few restaurants that operate 24 hours in Taitung, especially hot pot places, and even in other cities, you might not find any. So my friends and I are quite worried about whether it can survive.
During normal dining hours, there are quite a few people, and most of the time you have to wait in line a bit. In terms of hot pot ingredients, I personally think there are really too few vegetables, only a few leaves, while the rest is made up of hot pot items and root vegetables, which isn’t very satisfying. However, the meat is really fresh, especially if you choose the freshly sliced meat platter; the meat is very tender, and if you order more, it comes heaped on the plate.
There are also many items available at the self-service bar. For staple foods, you can choose from braised noodles and braised pork rice, and there are drink machines and popcorn. The ice cream brand is Xiao Mei. Overall, considering the price point, it’s quite good. But just like I felt before, I really hope the restaurant puts some of these costs back into the hot pot itself.
