Chishang is known for its good water quality, and its tofu products are also very famous. This tofu skin shop is quite popular, so I came to pay a visit.
The selling speed is very fast, and they only sell until 2 PM, so by the time I arrived, only the tower-shaped tofu skin was left to choose from, and it was already cold by the time I got it, which was really not great. However, arriving later can only allow for this. But I recommend trying their kimchi, soy milk, and tofu pudding; each of these dishes has its own strengths.
The kimchi is made from fresh cabbage and is moderately sweet and sour, and the portion is quite generous. The soy milk tastes freshly ground, very fragrant and pure, with no astringent taste, so it's no problem for one person to finish a cup. The tofu pudding melts in your mouth, is very soft and chewy, and when paired with its mildly sweet syrup, I find it very refreshing. It's relatively light as a dessert, and the body won’t feel overly burdened.
I recommend everyone to come to Chishang and try some snacks here, but I suggest arriving a bit earlier, instead of coming when they are close to closing.
