Location: London, UK
After a tiring shopping trip in Soho, we decided to have lunch at the nearby Burger & Lobster. It was a restaurant I had researched beforehand. Since it opens at 12 PM, I made a reservation for exactly 12 PM. However, since it was very close, we arrived early. The staff were very friendly and let us sit outside while we waited and checked the menu. The restaurant is most famous for its lobster dishes, so we ordered the Beast Burger and Lobster Mac & Cheese.
🌟 Beast Burger
We chose the 5oz beef option with lobster meat in the burger, served with fries. The first bite revealed the sweet taste of lobster, followed by the meaty texture of beef, and then the sauces came in. Overall, it was very filling; the proportions of the sauces and the combination of beef and lobster were perfect. As someone who loves seafood but prefers not to cook, I was very satisfied. It was a delicious meal that required no effort on my part. The fries were standard, nothing memorable.
🌟 Lobster Mac & Cheese
I chose this side dish based on online recommendations. When it was served, the portion was much larger than I expected. The first bite was packed with cheese, along with plenty of lobster, providing a very rich texture. However, it became a bit too heavy towards the end, so it’s really better to share it between two people.
Overall, it was incredibly delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. However, it definitely reflects British prices, making it quite an expensive meal. But since I don’t come here often, it was alright. I highly recommend it for anyone planning to visit the UK. Moreover, it is a chain with many locations, so there’s flexibility to fit it into your itinerary wherever you are. Highly recommended!
