Taiguan Private Beef Noodles is located on Zhongpo North Road near Exit 1 of Houshanpi Station. It is an old store that has been operating locally for some time.
As the name suggests, the store's signature dish is beef noodles, and there are three flavors to choose from: stewed, braised and Sichuan spicy.
What I enjoyed today was Sichuan spicy beef noodles, priced at 190 yuan.
Sichuan Spicy Beef Noodles:
This spicy food is quite to my liking, although my family feels that the spiciness is a bit like the spicy base of a Manchu-Chinese feast.
The noodles are flat but somewhat thick, and the texture is solid and elastic.
The portion of beef was pretty good, and the thickness of the meat was satisfying.
The sauerkraut is salty and sour, so it has a salty base, so I won’t dislike it.
The space inside the store is a bit small, and not only is it often full during popular dining periods, but it is also a bit crowded when moving around.
Overall, it's a decently delicious beef noodle.
Purely in terms of the deliciousness of the beef noodles, it may be the choice with the highest value in Houshanpi Station.
Will come back to enjoy the braised beef noodles when I find time.
Recommended to everyone!
