I have long heard about the "Jiyuan," endorsed by Michelin and celebrities, and finally had the chance to enjoy a delicious meal there.
The chicken soup I was most looking forward to indeed had the taste I had been yearning for, paired with bamboo fungus soaked in the soup—each sip of the broth was rich in flavor.
The must-order claypot bamboo fungus chicken gets five stars from me.
For the other dishes, I asked the friendly staff on-site for recommendations, and everything was delicious.
Dishes like tofu-crusted cod, stir-fried shrimp, Kung Pao squid duo, and dry-fried green beans were all special chef's dishes. Enjoying the skills of the chef was truly worthwhile and satisfying!
