This is a famous barbecue rice dish with several branches in Beishi.
According to the fierce competition in Bei City, a store can have several branches with stable output, which is actually enough to illustrate the strength of the store.
What I enjoyed today was grilled double treasure rice, priced at 110 yuan.
From the English menu, it can be seen that Shuangbao is a combination of pork and chicken, so I guessed it was barbecued meat and grilled chicken tenders.
When verified shortly afterwards, this was indeed the case.
Grilled Double Treasure Rice: One of the main dishes, the grilled meat is quite juicy and tender.
The grilled chicken fillet had a crispy skin, but today it was a bit dry on the inside.
There are three kinds of side dishes, today they are cabbage, pumpkin and dried tofu.
The cabbage is tender, delicate and quite sweet.
There is something subtle about the pumpkin, which tastes sweet but slightly bland.
The dried tofu is averagely delicious, impeccable.
There are many items in the store, and I have tried at least 30% of them.
Most of the items are excellent, but there are occasional surprising landmines.
Maybe it’s because of a different food habit. I ate roasted pork belly rice once and it felt really horrible, so oily.
Today, I felt that the softness of the rice was a little subtle. In fact, it was normal the first few times I ate it.
Overall, if the quality wasn't a bit erratic, I would have given it five stars, but today's standard can probably only give it three stars.
But the winter melon clear soup and the spicy dried radish with black bean sauce are so delicious, I’ll give them four stars.
Recommended to everyone!
