晶晶甜品

This was my first time eating at a dessert shop in Hong Kong, and there were many items that I've never seen in Taiwan. You could say that the selections are more refined, and the combinations of many dishes are really unexpected.

For example, I ordered coconut shaved ice with grass jelly (the kind of grass jelly I ordered is probably called "xian cao" in Taiwan, but the herbal flavor is much stronger, so it's a bit bitter). I never thought that coconut could be made into shaved ice, and the sweetness of the coconut enhances the bitterness of the grass jelly, making the taste more distinctive. It surprisingly tastes really good.

My friend ordered ginger soup with golden steamed milk. His steamed milk is somewhat like what we call "douhua" in Taiwan, but it seems to have milk or cream added, making it sweeter and more like eating pudding. However, the ginger soup is quite robust and spicy, so drinking it in winter should be quite warming.

On a weekday evening after dinner, there were many people, and the space in the shop isn’t very large, but the turnover rate is fast, so you don't have to wait too long. However, there are so many items that you don’t know what to order. Plus, the staff keep standing right beside you watching. 😂
