The small restaurant here at Gushan has a lot of character. If you ride a little further, you’ll reach Xiziwan. It’s located next to the stairs at the foot of the mountain, which is why the restaurant is named “Stair Foot.” The warm, colorful building is very eye-catching 👀. The indoor space is small, and I estimate it can seat about ten people. The hours on holidays are irregular, so make sure to check their Instagram announcements before going. Reservations can’t be made in advance, so if there are many people, you’ll have to wait on-site.

✐ Garlic Spicy Cheese Tender Chicken Pasta $150
· It has a cute presentation 🤣, with broccoli stuck in the cheese slice. The flavor is average, but at this price range, it’s quite friendly. What impressed me the most was that their chicken is cooked very well and is quite tender. I found out from the paper on the wall that they use sous-vide chicken, so the texture is really nice.

✐ Hand-Stirred Brown Sugar Fresh Milk Tea $50
· They have it in cans and cups. If you don’t need to take it away, I recommend just ordering the cup. The canned version feels similar in volume to the cup, but it’s quite a bit more expensive. I initially thought the flavor would be quite rich, but in fact, it is mild. The brown sugar flavor is not very prominent; I personally think it's just okay.
