Tea Demon, which started in Tainan, is very common in central and southern China. It once flew its flag to both north and south but failed in 2020. This year, Tea Demon provided pearl milk tea for the state banquet and returned to Taipei City to open a store. How is its performance?
Avoiding the crowds at the opening, Tea Demon no longer has to queue during off-peak hours. The combo I ordered this time was sugar-free Earl Gray milk tea, plus the classic blueberry jelly and boba.
Why can it be sugar-free? Because blueberry jelly already has its own sweetness and full of blueberry flavor, it is very refreshing when paired with the scent of Earl Gray tea. Tea Demon's Boba is different from the mainstream large Q-bomb style. It is sticky but easy to chew, which is also a unique feature.
