The exterior of the shop looks just like an ordinary snack bar, but the dishes are far from simple like most casual eateries! Hidden away in the alleys near the East District, the prices aren’t too high, and you can taste the owner’s dedication.
This time, I ordered the Qinglong Century Egg Noodle, blanched vegetables, and limited-edition juicy tofu. The tofu was truly amazing!! It was extremely juicy—I have to share this!
The Century Egg Noodle has a slightly sweet flavor, but the taste of the century egg isn’t very pronounced. The noodles are not mushy; they have a good chewiness to them. There are also green beans and broccoli in the noodles, which is quite special. Plus, there's cilantro as a garnish. I really like it!
The braised sauce for the tofu is just right; it’s the best tofu I’ve ever had in my life, and that’s not an exaggeration.
I will definitely be back!
