I went to the second location of a delicious izakaya called "Biri-chan" in front of Osaka Station 🍻
It’s located on the B1 floor of Osaka Station's Daisan Building 🏙️
For drinks, I chose:
Melon Cream Sour 🍈🍨 630 yen
Oolong Tea 🐦⬛ 410 yen
The Melon Cream Sour had an adult twist on melon cream soda and was really tasty 🍈🍨
Here’s what I ordered:
The Oden Radish with Shiitake and Cream Sauce 🍢:
The radish was generously covered in cream sauce. The radish soaked up the dashi, and the sauce had a rich mushroom flavor making it incredibly delicious 🥰. At 99 yen, it’s truly a loss-leader menu item‼️
Scotch Egg 🥚:
The scotch egg was crispy on the outside with a runny yolk, rich and tasty 🥚. It paired wonderfully with a light soup flavored with black pepper, and was super delicious 🥚.
Seafood Platter 🐟:
It included:
Toro-Taku Roll Sushi 🍣:
The sushi roll had:
Shiso-topped Grilled Gyoza 🥟:
The gyoza were grilled to a crispy finish with shiso also grilled 🌿. The gyoza were juicy and delicious 🥟, and the shiso added a nice refreshing flavor.
Grilled Yam with Mentai Mayo 🔥:
I topped it with mentai mayo ✨. The steaming hot yam was fluffy, tasty, and well-seasoned with dashi.
Like the first location, the food and drinks at the second location were also delicious 🥰.
It’s a beautiful place with an inviting atmosphere, making it easy for a woman to dine alone 🥰.
