I checked out the nostalgia of many National Chengchi University graduates for this restaurant's spicy chicken rice. Interestingly, the menu lists it as a "Taiwanese item" rather than Thai, and this place is a Taiwanese + Indonesian restaurant!
Once inside, you place your order at the counter, ring the bell, and pay up. Your meal arrives quickly.
The coating on the spicy chicken has a unique savory spice blend, which makes it particularly appetizing. The chicken itself is tender, no surprise there. The dry, fried style is indeed quite similar to Taiwanese fried chicken, and the mildly spicy, slightly salty sauce really tastes good.
The portion for this meal includes three side dishes and two bowls of rice, perhaps catering to the needs of university students?
