🥢 I’ve dined at Kiwi Sushi many times, but this was my first visit to the Tianmu store. I was surprised to find available seats when I booked online last minute on a Sunday morning! 🤣 What luck! The flow of service was smooth, and food was replenished quickly, maintaining the consistent quality that Kiwi Sushi is known for. It continues to rank in the top three for all-you-can-eat sushi.
🍣 The raw food section performed well; the sweet shrimp hand rolls were incredibly fresh and sweet, and I ate three in a row without exaggeration. The scallop and sea urchin burger didn’t have much of a sea urchin flavor, but I went back for more several times. The yellowtail and tuna sashimi were thickly sliced and fresh, making me feel very comfortable dining there.
🥩 The cooked food section offered tender and juicy grilled steak, and the soft-shell crab had a crispy exterior with bursting juices inside. However, the truffle steamed egg was relatively bland and didn't stand out in aroma. The freshly made clam soup was a delightful surprise; the clams were plump, and the broth was sweet and fresh. I immediately wanted to line up for another bowl 🍲
🍦 The dessert section didn’t have many highlights and was quite average, but the ice cream surprised me with its richness without being overly sweet, resulting in a smooth texture. The matcha latte was phenomenal; I could easily finish three cups, with the tea aroma and milk flavor perfectly balanced 😌
Overall, the speed of replenishing dishes, meal quality, and dining atmosphere were all very good. I felt extremely satisfied with the afternoon tea, and I would love to revisit the Tianmu store! 🙌
