The boss lady is very talkative and confidently recommends her own dishes. This is a shop that has started in Dongqing in recent years.
Overall, the food can be divided into set meals and à la carte options. The à la carte part mainly features rice dishes that are quite common in Taiwan, such as braised pork rice, grilled meat rice, curry rice, etc., along with some snacks. Since I was quite full from lunch that afternoon, I only ordered one guabao and a plate of fragrant pork slices for dinner. However, the set meals at other tables looked pretty hearty, so maybe I can try them next time.
Every dish is made fresh by the owner, and there are no issues with taste or freshness; the dishes lean towards home-style cooking. Personally, I find the flavors to be rather ordinary and didn't particularly enjoy them, so I only give it three stars. Perhaps everyone's subjective tastes differ, and I could come back to help raise the rating.
