The steamed dumpling shop, located in front of the Guanshan Tianhou Temple, is a very famous old establishment, but it has now moved to a slightly farther location on the same street. The original shop is still in operation, but it no longer sells steamed dumplings; you have to go to the new location for those.

At the dumpling shop, the thickness of the skin is just right—not too soft or mushy and still has a good chew. The meat filling is quite fresh and sweet, and overall, the steamed dumplings are juicy and delicious; I recommend sharing a basket between two people. Additionally, the soup is surprisingly good; the preparation of the ingredients in the pig's blood soup is very clean. The pig's blood itself has no strong blood taste, and when paired with diced chives and broth made with radish and duck bones, it's truly delightful and makes you want bowl after bowl.

Leek and pig's blood soup.
The steamed dumplings are not very much, but if you want to eat a lot, two people can share one serving.
Each table has a sauce station, which is very convenient!
In addition to steamed dumplings, there are many side dishes to eat.
The workstation for making steamed dumplings and related foods is right in the store, not afraid to let you see it. Although it doesn't look very tidy in front of the camera 😅.
The cutlery area is self-service.

Shan Dong Little Restaurant

《山東小城》 is famous for its black squid-ink dumplings 🦑 among the great variety of handmade dumplings on the menu, the green onion mutton one stands out most. Apart from dumpling soups, it also serves fried dumplings with light charred crispy skin and juicy fillings. If you fancy more variety, check out their noodles and cold appetisers as well, or ask about their daily specials 🥟

(Chan Kee Homemade Beancurds & Snacks Shop)
DumplingKowloon
No place in the universe takes dumplings more seriously than here. The scrumptious freshness is everything, and the shop has a traditional feel to it. Ceramic-tiled entrance frame walls and transparent glass windows are reminiscent of old-time Hong Kong. Within their semi-one kitchen , dumplings are handmade daily and only the freshest ingredients are used in the fillings. Try their most-ordered item House Dumplings. Or surprise yourself with the specialty, such as glutinous multigrain and purple rice dumplings. Sesame soy milk and 蘿蔔豬皮 signature snacks are also recommended.
