The steamed dumpling shop, located in front of the Guanshan Tianhou Temple, is a very famous old establishment, but it has now moved to a slightly farther location on the same street. The original shop is still in operation, but it no longer sells steamed dumplings; you have to go to the new location for those.
At the dumpling shop, the thickness of the skin is just right—not too soft or mushy and still has a good chew. The meat filling is quite fresh and sweet, and overall, the steamed dumplings are juicy and delicious; I recommend sharing a basket between two people. Additionally, the soup is surprisingly good; the preparation of the ingredients in the pig's blood soup is very clean. The pig's blood itself has no strong blood taste, and when paired with diced chives and broth made with radish and duck bones, it's truly delightful and makes you want bowl after bowl.
