Located near the roundabout is the private tasting restaurant.
It is part of the private tasting curry series.
The private tasting series emphasizes pet-friendly dining.
It offers a variety of dishes, including skewers, Japanese curry, gastropub fare, and izakaya-style dishes.
I haven’t eaten curry in a long time, and since I hadn’t tried this place yet, I decided to have a taste.
On the weekend, I was lucky to go at 6 PM and didn’t have to wait in line.
If you come later, you will need to wait.
There are two floors in total.
However, the seating is a bit densely arranged.
The staff will ask if you need an introduction.
The introduction process is very detailed.
You order using a QR code.
I happened to see that they had the recently popular shaking rabbit dessert (it was chocolate flavor that day).
The shaking rabbit set is part of the couple's meal and includes everything we wanted to eat.
So, we just ordered it (๑•̀ᄇ•́)و ✧
This completely solved our decision-making problem.
You can choose the sweetness for the black tea (no sugar/slightly sweet).
Just choose based on what you usually drink.
It’s delicious black tea!
The wine-steamed clams.
The first one I ate had a strong wine flavor,
but the others didn’t.
Maybe that particular clam had a bit more wine in it, haha.
The clams were fresh and plump.
The portion was sufficient (about 15 clams).
The price for ordering it separately was $120, which is quite reasonable.
Private tasting curry with fried chicken + spiral egg.
The curry is served separately.
You can decide whether to mix it with rice or not. ٩۹(๑•̀ω•́ ๑)۶
The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; the skin wasn’t so hard that you couldn’t bite it.
The portion given was also generous.
The curry tasted sweet.
Nyonya green curry chicken + spiral egg.
This curry sauce was generously poured over a full plate.
It was slightly spicy on its own.
If you usually eat spicier food, you can add spicy butter.
Shaking rabbit dessert.
Today it was chocolate flavor.
It tastes like a light chocolate milk flavor,
but it can get a bit overwhelming toward the end.
You can refill white rice, soup, and curry,
so you don’t need to worry about not getting enough to eat.
Overall, the set meal was quite reasonable.
However, you don’t need to order just for the shaking rabbit dessert.
For our appetite, ordering the curry separately was more than enough to eat, lol.
