Let's try another store selling Hawaiian bowls in Zhongshan Station today. Unlike the "Poke Go" in Zhongshan Station which can only be taken away, this "HALOA POKE" is available for dine-in use. There are not too few seats, but because it is at Zhongshan Station, you need to wait for a seat if you arrive after 6pm on a Friday (but it only takes 10 minutes, which is acceptable)
You can choose the meals prepared by the store, or you can mix your own. The store provides a menu that you can draw notes on. You can circle the combination you want and bring it to the store staff~
Your own mix includes: choose 1 base, choose 5 toppings, choose 1 main ingredient, choose 1 sauce, choose 1 topping, a total of 150 yuan, which is quite a big bowl
My choice today:
Base - half and half brown rice and lettuce (there is a brown rice option, yay!)
Ingredients - cauliflower, edamame, asparagus, boiled egg, bell pepper (I gave a whole egg, which is quite sincere, and the other ingredients are cut into small pieces, which is easy to eat)
Main ingredient - chicken breast (each piece of meat is very large, about 7 pieces, the meat is quite tender and will not dry out)
Sauce - Signature Spicy Mayonnaise (As a mayonnaise lover, I had to order this, it’s just slightly spicy. If you don’t dare to eat spicy food, you can try it. Today I heard that a customer asked the waiter to put the sauce separately when ordering. This is also good. Not bad, let guests decide how much sauce to add)
Sprinkle - chopped nuts (quite special, but the amount of sprinkling is not large, and it doesn’t taste like it has any presence)
There is no water provided for internal use. You can add some drinks and hot soup, but I didn’t order it this time. It seemed that no one was ordering at the scene.
Overall, the portion is enough. My friends who were traveling with me didn’t even finish them all, and the ingredients are quite fresh. If you go shopping at Zhongshan Station with your friends and want to eat healthier, you can choose this restaurant; but for the seasoning, I personally prefer it. Nearby "Poke Go" ~
