The first branch of Tea Soup Club was established in Taichung in 2005 and has a history of 20 years.
What’s interesting is that the official website clearly states that it has more than 40 years of tea soup heritage. What’s going on?
It turns out that the parent company of the Tea Soup Club is the Yangxian Tea Shop established in 1983.
A few years later, Yangxian Tea Shop changed its name to a jingle-dang name that is still known today. This company is the famous Chun Shui Tang.
What I enjoyed today was the Golden Osmanthus Guanyin and Golden Osmanthus Jasmine, totaling 110 yuan.
Jin Gui Guanyin:
The graininess of the sweet-scented osmanthus stuffing gives this cup of sugar-free Tieguanyin a special flavor.
The overall taste will be like a slightly sugary or less sugary flavor.
But maybe it's because of the lack of preparation time, or the store clerk is relatively inexperienced.
The sweetness of the sweet-scented osmanthus brew is very comfortable, but it still cannot cover up the bitterness of the tea base.
Golden osmanthus jasmine:
It is also the seasoning method of Osmanthus Stuffed series.
The problem is still the same. The only slight difference is that the bitterness of green tea will not be as deep as Tieguanyin.
The store is located on the third floor of Hualien Railway Station.
When we ordered our food, the clerk said that a new round of cleaning and preparation was going on and asked us to come back in ten minutes.
Unfortunately, the two cups of tea I got after visiting ten minutes later were a bit unsatisfactory.
Overall, maybe it's because the tourists coming and going at the train station are really in a hurry, or maybe it's because the clerk's skills really need to be honed.
It can't be the quality of tea provided by Chun Shui Tang Enterprise...impossible, right?
But no matter what, if you really want to drink a hand-cranked cup in this area of the train station, this is the only option.
What we customers can do is not to increase the sweetness and remove the astringency, otherwise we can pray that the store staff is experienced.
