The set meal offers great value for money, the dry ramen noodles are chewy, the side dishes are seasoned just right, the tofu soup is warm and tasty, the cabbage dumplings have a crispy skin, and the steamed egg with chicken is delicious, although the price is a bit high. The Chinese fried rice portion is on the smaller side, the taste is average, and there are few ingredients, so the value for money is not high.
This is a newly opened restaurant at the Far Eastern Plaza. With the mindset of trying something new for myself and everyone, I decided to give it a shot.
Although this restaurant's name only mentions dumplings, there is also a variety of Chinese noodles available for everyone to choose from. However, I only ordered the Chinese fried rice this time, which comes in both medium and large bowls.
First of all, the medium bowl has a small portion, even for someone like me who doesn't eat much, I found the portion to be insufficient. I suggest that you order the large bowl instead if you’re going to try it.
The fried rice itself isn't bad, but it can be considered just okay. For fried rice to be good, it needs to have distinct grains, but this place doesn’t get that right. Additionally, the seasoning is crucial; too much makes it salty, while too little makes it bland. Lastly, regarding the ingredients, this restaurant only has a very small amount of shredded meat.
Overall, this place doesn't have a very high value for money.

Here are the ordered items and prices 🔻
👉🏼 Set Meal 4 $160
🔺 Cold Noodles
The noodles are chewy and not soft, but it's a bit disappointing that the set meal doesn't include a soft-boiled egg. The crispy shallots are just right and don’t need any extra, and the toppings include green onions.
🔺 Side Dishes
All four sections are cold dishes: smoked tofu skin, kelp, burdock strips, and black fungus; the seasoning is just right and quite tasty.
🔺 Tofu Soup
The temperature is hot enough to warm you up, and adding white vinegar enhances the flavor making it even better. The tofu is a large piece which gives a satisfying texture and it seems to be firm tofu.
🔺 Cabbage Dumplings
A serving has 4 pieces which are of normal size, and surprisingly, they squirt juice when bitten into 😆. The outer skin is crispy; it would be even better if the filling could include chives or other flavor options.
👉🏼 Steamed Chicken Egg $60
The price is a bit shocking and not cheap, but the chicken is really delicious and not dry. The steamed egg is on the salty side.
