The dishes focus on low calories, making them especially suitable for those controlling their calorie intake. The sous-vide chicken breast has been seared, but the flavor is relatively bland, and the sauce is ordinary, lacking a strong flavor memory. There are a variety of side dishes, but the seasoning is rather mild.
This time at the Yongkang East Bridge, I tried the Light Low-Calorie Healthy Meal Box, a restaurant that focuses on fat-loss friendly meals and clearly labels calorie counts. For those controlling their body composition or calorie intake, this is definitely a plus.
I ordered two flavors of sous-vide chicken breast, specifically smoked sauce and sesame sauce. The design and arrangement of the meal box are quite basic. Although the chicken breast is sous-vide cooked, the restaurant also uses a blowtorch for finishing, but it still tastes like chicken breast XD. At least it doesn’t seem to make a significant difference in texture. The sauces are also mediocre; the smoked sauce is slightly thin in flavor, while the sesame sauce is relatively palatable. Overall, the taste does not leave a strong impression.
The seasoning of the side dishes is on the lighter side. At first glance, it seems there are various types of vegetables, but in terms of texture and flavor treatment, they are not particularly outstanding. Compared to some healthy meal places that can make even boiled vegetables layered and naturally delicious, this place seems a bit ordinary. The portion of chicken breast is also relatively small.
Overall, "Light" gives the impression that function is prioritized over flavor. If you are very concerned about calorie numbers, at least they provide that information.
