Nanhua Noodle Shop is located in Section 3 of Jifeng Road, Ji'an Township, along Provincial Highway 9. It is a well-known local store. Because parking along the road is convenient, there are many tourists who stop to dine.

Today I enjoyed Nan Hua noodles and blanched vegetables, totaling NT$120.

Nam Hwa Noodles:
It’s the pickled mustard shredded pork noodle soup. Although the soup looks refreshing, the taste is actually quite rich. The large amount of pickled pork shreds in the bowl can remove oil, relieve greasiness and add texture.
The noodles are slightly thick and ramen-like. They are springy and soupy, and are very delicious.

However, there are actually three Nanhua Noodle restaurants in Ji'an, all named after the nearby Nanhua Village. Two of them are fried noodles, belonging to the Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisines.
The Nan Hua noodles here are obviously different.

Blanched vegetables:
The store will ask whether you want green vegetables or wild vegetables. Green vegetables are ordinary sweet potato leaves, and wild vegetables...
To be honest, I can't tell what species it is. It may be amaranth, nightshade or Showa grass. After consultation, the most likely thing is purslane, also known as pig sow's milk.
The fiber is actually a little thicker, but you can feel that the store has carefully selected it. Compared with specially grown vegetables, it has a special game flavor, a little sour and a little mucilage, and the flavor is very special.

The side dish cabinet in the store is quite rich, but since I was visiting alone today, I was already full with one dish per side, so I gave up.
Chicken intestines are the restaurant’s signature side dish, I really want to try them.

Overall, in terms of opening hours, it is a Taiwanese brunch spot that is well worth visiting.
There is something that puzzles me. After Section 3 of Ji Feng Road crosses Nam Wah Noodle Shop, the road name becomes Section 5 of Ji Feng Road.
Where did the fourth paragraph disappear to? Just curious.

The store is quite spacious, but there are quite a lot of customers, so it’s still easy to find a seat during popular times.
The store offers three types of chili, each with its own characteristics. Raw chili and black bean chili are both very delicious.
I will definitely come back, even if it's just for the takeaway side dishes it's worth the visit.

Highly recommended to everyone!
