The main reason for coming to Kurogeya is to eat Japanese wagyu. This time I ordered a large portion of ordinary Japanese wagyu. I wanted to compare it with the last time. But after eating it, I found that I couldn't tell the difference😅. I will order the most basic one in the future. That’s great, very cost-effective😄
I also changed the soup base this time, from shabu-shabu to sukiyaki, but I felt that the sukiyaki was a bit too salty. Even after adding a lot of water, I still felt it was a bit salty. I will probably change it back to shabu-shabu next time.
In addition, I think Kurogeya's service is very good, and it also comes with a children's meal and a small cake for the birthday girl. Unfortunately, it is chocolate and my daughter is too young to eat it, so it became my after-dinner dessert 😆

Today I ordered the Seasonal Hotpot - Brie Cheese Soy Milk Hotpot to try out. After eating it a few times, I found that the quality of ordinary Japanese Wagyu beef is very good. It is paired with the new Liubai Kurobuta Pork belly. The portions are available in three sizes (light, regular, and large). Sheng), usually our family orders a standard + a large portion which is enough. My husband chose the sukiyaki pot base today.
In terms of taste, I really like the seasonal hot pot, with a strong cheese and soy milk flavor. The important thing is that it is paired with dandan noodles (generally, you can choose between white rice or tofu in the hot pot). There will be a dedicated person to help you cook and season the dandan noodles. The noodles are average. But I quite like the seasoning😘Needless to say the quality of the meat. The texture of Japanese Wagyu beef is soft and tender, which I like, and the fat of Wagyu beef is not too much. Generally, the bottom of the pot is rinsed a few times (when the meat becomes pink and tender, it should be picked up as soon as possible) It's just delicious. When paired with the sukiyaki raw egg liquid, it's super smooth and tender. I prefer the texture of the sukiyaki cooked meat. My daughter also loved the children’s plate (no one would love the panda-shaped rice).
It's a pity that there didn't seem to be enough manpower in the field that day. Many times we couldn't find the service staff, or we might have to wait for a long time or have to remind them. However, the attitude of the service staff was good, but at this price, we would be more demanding on service. , a bit of a pity.
