The winter green tea from Shanyun has a rich and smooth taste without sugar. It leaves a sweet aftertaste, helps reduce greasiness, and has a pleasant flavor.
The Wu Ying Yongchun store is located at the intersection of Songshan Road and Section 5 of Zhongxiao East Road, right next to Yongchun MRT station. The founder of this brand is the well-known artist Wu Zun, which is probably not news anymore. In fact, many of the owners behind bubble tea shops in northern Taiwan are also artists or influencers.
Today, I enjoyed the Mountain Rhythm Dong Pian Qing, priced at 35 NT dollars.
Mountain Rhythm Dong Pian Qing:
Since I bought Lao Wang fried grilled foods to watch a baseball game that day, I chose a sugar-free tea drink. The winter leaves have a rich and aromatic taste, with a sweet aftertaste, making it a refreshing choice that cuts through greasiness.
One of the features of Wu Ying is that you can choose whether to add a tea bag to your cup. If you choose to add the tea bag, you can take it out at home and brew it again with hot water. The downside is that if you leave the initially brewed tea for too long and don’t drink it, the flavor may become too strong or astringent. It has its pros and cons.
Overall, it's a relatively decent emerging chain. The company is quite proactive in collaborating with various IPs. Their recent collaboration is with the Red Cap Girl, a neutral brand from Japan featuring a girl wearing a red hat.
This major intersection has a golden location on the pedestrian sidewalk, and the competition is quite fierce. The drinks are good, so it's worth a stop when passing by, but we'll see how long the shop can last.
I recommend it to everyone.
