Located in the alleys of Xinyi District, Lazy Pasta is a hidden Italian pasta restaurant in the bustling city. Although the shop is not large, it is very popular due to its unique flavors and comfortable atmosphere. This time, I chose their signature dish, which is also the most visually appealing to me: creamy bacon and egg yolk pasta.

As soon as this creamy bacon and egg yolk pasta was served, a rich aroma wafted through the air, making my mouth water. The noodles were enveloped in a rich creamy sauce, paired with the bacon for a rich and layered texture. The most eye-catching element was the egg yolk placed on top of the noodles, its golden color looked particularly enticing. When mixed gently, the egg yolk blended seamlessly with the creamy sauce, adding a silky texture and a more intense flavor to the dish. Moreover, the taste was just right; Lazy Pasta’s egg yolk pasta is not overly salty and suits the Taiwanese palate perfectly!

However, Lazy Pasta often requires a wait during evening rush hours, indicating its popularity. I arrived around 5:30 PM and noticed that the waiting list had already turned over a page! 😨
