Lam Kee Sesame Noodles is located in the public Chengde Market in Nangang. It is a well-known local store with more than 35 years of history.
Directly opposite is the Zhongxiao Campus of United Hospital, and it's not too far from Houshanpi Station.

Today I enjoyed noodles, pork liver soup, and fresh oyster noodles, totaling 190 yuan.

Noodles:
That’s sesame paste noodles, the store’s signature dish.
The problem with sesame paste noodles in most stores is that the sauce is too thick and absorbs all the water, making the noodles taste quite dry.
But the rich and non-sticky sesame sauce here combined with the springy and generous noodle body makes the noodles still moist and delicious.

Pork liver soup:
Boil the pork liver briefly with hot water and then add the hot soup in one go and blanch until cooked.
In this way, in addition to the reddish color of the pork liver, there is also a lot of myoglobin in the hot soup.
Pork liver tastes pink and tender, almost like pink liver, and its nutrients are completely preserved by the hot soup.

Fresh oyster noodles:
The noodle used is as elastic and thick as the noodles. The fresh oysters are quite fresh and not small in size.
It tastes quite delicious.

Overall, the strength of being able to carry the fragrance for nearly 40 years is obvious to all.
Originally, Nidaime had a branch with the same name in the East District.
But because the older generation was about to retire, the branch had to be closed.
Come back to Chengde Market to keep the most familiar old taste.

After all, in public markets, there are many old problems with stalls in the market, such as narrow aisles, crowded seats, occasional odor mixing with surrounding stalls, etc.
However, Chengde Market is air-conditioned, so at least it won’t be too stuffy when dining.
Next time I want to eat tongue meat noodles, but I didn’t get it this time and had to choose fresh oysters.

Recommended to everyone!
