A bento shop that breaks the mold! I would be willing to visit again 👍
Walking on the street on a weekend, it was either brunch or restaurants that aren’t suitable for one person. I just wanted to simply solve my lunch, but I was stuck in an awkward situation where a breakfast shop was closing and the other restaurants had long lines.
As I wandered around, I found this highly-rated bento shop.
I peeked inside, and there was only one group of customers (it was almost mealtime already). The environment was quite different from a traditional bento shop—too clean, bright, and without grease! I was momentarily doubtful if this was really a bento shop.
Inside, there were also muscular uncles packaging the bentos, serving customers with a shy demeanor and moving quickly.
When the bento was served, I briefly thought I was eating a healthy meal—low in oil and light—but it still had basic seasoning. Compared to a health meal, it did lack a bit in the amount of vegetables and protein pairing, so it was a sort of “healthy-tasting bento.” No wonder there are so many reviews from moms willing to buy it for their children every day.
As for the taste, I’ll leave that to the pictures later! It’s a bento shop that impressed me on my first visit!
