The ginger flavor in the rice dish is not as pronounced as before, leaving only the aroma of sesame oil, making the overall taste average. The meat soup has ample meat, and the broth is light and slightly sweet, leaving a lasting impression.
After moving to the new location, the environment has significantly improved, but we still maintain a quick table turnover efficiency.
During the Lunar New Year period, there are more customers, but the table turnover speed is fast, and the waiting time is not long.
Comments from the braces wearer: Didn't see the restroom
During this visit to Dong Fa Hao, I noticed that the flavors were somewhat different from my previous impressions. I had eaten here back when they were still next to the temple, and now that they’ve moved into a storefront, the environment has definitely improved, but the taste seems to have changed.
As for the oil rice, the ginger flavor used to be very pronounced, but this time I could barely taste it, and only the sesame oil fragrance remained, making it feel rather average. The meatball soup had a decent amount of meatballs, and the broth was light and slightly sweet, which was nice and made me want to keep taking bites. There were a lot of people during the New Year period, but the tables turned quickly, so the wait wasn’t too long.
Regarding prices, I noticed that it has increased; a bowl of meatball soup is 75 NT dollars, and the oil rice is 45 NT dollars, which feels a bit expensive. I'm not sure if the flavor has really changed or if it's just that I haven’t eaten here in so long that the taste feels different from before.
