I have visited Muko Brunch, a brunch shop located in the Dongmen/Guting area no less than three or four times, and today I am finally here to introduce it.
The prices here are within the normal range of Taipei City, and the brunch plates are well matched, with no too abrupt combinations. After ordering, you will be looking forward to what the food will look like. Use qrcode to order, but after ordering You must remember to go to the counter to check out immediately, otherwise it may affect the speed of confirming the meal and getting to the table.
This time we ordered red wine braised beef and shrimp garlic avocado toast. The beef in the former is stewed soft and tender, and the taste is just right, but the sauce is too watery, which makes people a little overwhelmed; the shrimp in the latter is heavily seasoned and tastes very enjoyable, but the toast is made from rye bread, which is common in Europe. It’s relatively flat and solid, and I personally don’t think it tastes good. It would be better if I could use fluffier bread.
In addition, as long as you order a main meal, you can add an additional order of brown sugar nut yogurt for NT$50. The yogurt itself is very thin, but the store sprinkles brown sugar powder and nuts directly on top, making the flavor and texture very interesting. I really think it’s delicious to eat like this, and I even want to try it at home!
However, I still have to push back a little. There is only a small discount when ordering drinks to go with the main meal here, which seems to be a bit uneconomical. If you want to drink, it is better to go to the nearby place to buy a handheld drink or coffee. A more budget-friendly option
