On New Year's Day, not knowing where to go, I discovered this café near Dadaocheng that was actually open, and I came to visit as soon as it opened. Located on the second floor, I felt it was a bit magical when I first arrived because the first floor was abandoned, and I had to climb a very steep staircase to reach the café. Below are the dishes.
▪️Seasonal Strawberry Pudding $190
The pudding has a very fine texture, and you can only taste its egg aroma when you eat it carefully. The caramel has a slight bitterness, beautifully paired with the strawberries and blueberries for a nice presentation, but the strawberries weren't particularly delicious.
▪️Pork Floss Chocolate Basque $190
I thought it was special and wanted to try it. The chocolate flavor is good quality, but the Basque’s cheese aroma is not very strong which is a little disappointing. I probably prefer the creamy taste of Basque. The pork floss doesn’t stand out much but helps to balance the sweetness of the chocolate.

I initially thought "Little White" would have more milk, but after looking it up: Little White coffee comes from Australia and New Zealand, also known as flat white, which is a cappuccino with thinner foam, usually made with double shots of espresso for a richer coffee flavor. It does have a stronger coffee taste when actually consumed, but it's smooth. The latte art is quite cute.

This pot brewed milk tea has a slight spice flavor, quite rich, with enough milkiness, and a faint cinnamon flavor that seems to be from sprinkled powder, it's quite delightful.
Overall, the dessert flavors weren’t particularly outstanding, but the coffee drinks were quite good. It was really hard to find a café open on New Year's Day, and soon after opening, the place became fully booked with many people waiting. The wait time for a solo visit was relatively long, but I really liked the style. The weather was nice, which gave a very healing feeling. If you’re used to a simple wooden style, you should give it a try.
