Setting aside the fact that Wu Ma serves very hearty chicken soup, I am definitely part of the Cha Liu faction!!!
Every time I eat there, I feel really satisfied; the meal combos, the quality of the meat, and the service are all excellent!
This time, I went to the new Chaofu restaurant (the relocated Chaofu), which has a very minimalist yet classy exterior. The restaurants in Taichung are really huge🤣
I must say that BBQ places are really suitable for gatherings after work, especially before a holiday.
The business hours until 2 AM are truly a blessing for everyone 💗
I made a reservation for 10:00 PM and was basically seated on the first floor. Although there were quite a few diners, it was genuinely relaxing to eat without being disturbed, and the seating space was quite large!

Overall, the meal was very delicious, and I tried a few items for the first time as add-ons, all of which I highly recommend (especially the scallion oil mixed rice, which looks really extravagant, haha).
The green vegetable and fruit juice had a lot of pulp; after a few sips, it was mostly pulp left. Though tasty, I might not order it next time.
Among the drinks, I highly recommend the yuzu sparkling drink; it's the best for quenching thirst among the three we had. Although the price can't compare to outside, it's a super big cup and really refreshing.
