Today, I enjoyed Tyrant's Blessing, On Tsang Tow, Blossom of Sea, Envy Me, Presents of God, Du Kang's Select, crispy garlic potatoes, and a platter of fried snacks, totaling 3,553 TWD.

Tyrant's Blessing:
The name comes from the Taiwanese homophone for basil, and the glassware is a three-footed porcelain cup alongside an ancient-style wine vessel, creating a rich sense of Eastern ritual.
The basil leaves provide a strong aroma, and upon tasting, the herbal flavors are robust, blending into a mildly spicy finish with a hint of sweetness—it's a cocktail that's highly memorable.
International guests at the next table saw it and immediately ordered one too.

On Tsang Tow:
The name is a homophone for red shallots in Taiwanese, and the drink presents a sweet-salty flavor with a noticeable oily texture.
The rim is decorated with seaweed-wrapped meat floss, adding an extra salty flavor that combines with the drink to create a uniquely snack-like experience.

Blossom of Sea:
This cocktail features low-temperature extracted whiskey infused with Hangzhou chrysanthemum, offering a mellow flavor.
It’s garnished with perilla leaves and a dried Hangzhou chrysanthemum flower, combined with four-season spring tea syrup and red-fleshed guava puree, giving off subtle tea aromas and delicate fruit flavors with unexpectedly low sweetness.
The addition of vermouth balances the flavors, resulting in an overall refreshing and elegant drink.

Envy Me:
This cocktail primarily features edamame and jasmine syrup, with gin as the base.
Upon tasting, the gin's aroma subtly emerges without overwhelming the overall flavor; the floral notes of jasmine and slight sweetness of edamame intertwine, creating a nuanced and richly layered profile with a fresh style.
The rim is also adorned with edamame, which is, of course, edible.

Presents of God:
This cocktail is themed around Earl Grey tea, with gin as the base, complemented by bergamot and subtle citrus aromas, presenting a delicate texture.
The tea aroma initially takes over the palate, transitioning to the citrus and slight sweetness from the bergamot.
It's perfect for tea cocktail enthusiasts.

Du Kang’s Select:
The soul of this cocktail comes from goji berries, longan, and red date tea, offering a warm and sweet flavor, paired with vodka as the base.
This lowers the spirit's intensity while maintaining depth, though the vodka’s alcohol content is still noticeable.
Garnished with goji berries, it adds a touch of herbal fragrance, rounding out the overall taste, almost transforming a nourishing wellness drink into a cocktail.

Crispy Garlic Potatoes:
The fries are fried to a golden crispness with a garlic flavor.
The accompanying truffle sauce is delicious, and I ended up spending an extra 50 TWD to buy more sauce.

Fried Snacks Platter:
The platter includes Japanese fried snacks such as fish balls and sweet potato fries; while the exterior is crispy, the inside remains chewy, pairing well with the cocktails.

Overall, it truly lives up to its reputation of being consistently listed among Asia's top 50 bars for years.
The exterior of the venue is understated, but the interior is rich in quality with soft, warm lighting.
While the seating area may be a bit cramped, the charm outweighs any flaws.
The excellent cocktails not only showcase a high level of skill but also blend Taiwanese humor and Eastern flavors, with thoughtful consideration evident in everything from the cocktail names, glassware, to the various flavor layers—overall, a very satisfying experience.

Highly recommended to everyone!
