Family-style brunch cafe 🍴 - Much more ordinary than expected 😅

I initially discovered this place through a Facebook group in Beitou, and it had decent Google reviews with a score of 4.2 stars. However, I was disappointed with both the environment and the food.

The address is located in a small alley, on the first floor of a renovated old apartment. Upon entering, the decor feels a bit cluttered with a lot of elements on display, and some sofas are worn out. The air conditioning is not very effective.

The sauce and cutlery area is self-service, and this area feels a bit old and dusty.

On the plus side, there are many seats, enough to accommodate at least 30 people, and the types of seating are quite diverse, including sofas, high stools, and bar seating.

🍖 Imperial Platter (original price $240, discounted price $211):

The highlight is the stir-fried mushrooms, but the portion is not very large.

For the side dish, I chose the cream soup, which felt like it was made from a pre-packaged mix. The taste was bland, and the temperature was not hot enough! The bread pieces on top that hadn’t soaked in the soup were also soft and lacked crunch.

🧆 Prince Platter (original price $240 + French Toast $15, discounted price $226):

The side dishes included bacon 🥓, cheese eggs, hot dogs, and French fries 🍟, all at the typical level of a roadside Taiwanese breakfast shop, without anything too impressive.

I checked the reviews which mentioned that the standard bread 🥖 was quite dry and not very tasty. I paid extra to swap for French Toast, but to my surprise, the French Toast was also overcooked and dry, with only the surface having the flavor of egg and honey, which I do not recommend.
